Scented sweet peas - a beautiful thank you gift from a client. L was exhibiting signs of "burn out." To outward appearances, she appeared to be "on a mission," busy and seemingly sucessful, but her body was exhausted. She was reluctant to reach out for help as she thought of herself as an "over achiever."
She had a feeling of unease and mysterious pain. All medical tests came back clear, doctors took her word when she said she was "fine" and would be ok to "get on with it."
A chance encounter and conversation with me opened a new healing opportunity this lady.
Burnout happens when we are absorbed in something else, so much so, we willingly risking our own health. Hypnotherapy is effective therapy for this. We can identify what drives this behaviour.
What are the clues we are headed for burnout? - wakefulness - unhealthy choices - addiction - mysterious body ailments - ignoring "red flags" and intuitive thoughts - allowing the breakdown of personal boundaries - feeling empty - going through the motions of life - Knowing something is wrong but not able to see clearly what/who - not enjoying things - losing sight of motivating factors and top 3 heart desires -unwilling to take a break incase to-do list/work gets out of control/you are irreplaceable. -inability to get our needs met
